What is NSRoute?
NSRoute is a truck route planner for Europe: enter origin, destination and vehicle, and get a truck-aware route with estimated tolls, fuel and driving restrictions plus a cost breakdown you can export as a quote PDF. It is a professional route-planning and freight-cost workspace for European road transport — from vans and HGV combinations to oversized loads. It brings vehicle dimensions, axle loads, ADR context, toll and fuel estimates, driving-ban checks and permit guidance into one inspectable workflow.
How NSRoute works
- Enter your origin, destination and truck parameters (weight, dimensions, axle configuration)
- NSRoute calculates the optimal HGV route with estimated toll costs, fuel prices and driving ban alerts
- Download a full cost breakdown as PDF or share it with your dispatcher — tolls, fuel, driver costs and margin included
Features
- HGV-optimized routing across 37 European countries
- Toll cost estimates (e-TOLL, LSVA, Maut, Péage, vignettes)
- Diesel fuel costs per country with consumption model
- Weekend & holiday driving ban alerts by country
- Indicative oversized permit and escort planning guidance
- AI voice assistant for hands-free route planning
- Full cost breakdown: tolls + fuel + driver + margin calculator

- Driver trip links without an account, hand-off to Google Maps, Waze or Sygic, and ferry crossing selection
- AI reads transport enquiries from text, images, PDF or e-mail files and fills in the route
- Free 3D load planner: pallets and cargo stacked in the trailer, loading metres and payload check, no account needed
NSRoute vs Google Maps
Google Maps does not differentiate between a car and a 40-tonne truck. It ignores bridge weight limits, tunnel height restrictions, weekend driving bans and toll costs that vary by emission class and axle count. NSRoute was built specifically for freight forwarders, fleet managers and truck drivers who need quote-ready planning estimates before every trip. Where Google Maps gives you a route, NSRoute gives you a business decision.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is NSRoute free?
Yes. The free plan includes 5 route calculations and 3 carrier verifications per month, with the full cost breakdown, PDF export and the AI voice assistant. New accounts get 7 days of PRO free, no card required. PRO and FLEET remove the route limit and add unlimited carrier verification with a signed report.
Which countries does NSRoute support?
NSRoute supports HGV routing across 37 European countries and toll cost estimates for 30+ countries including Germany (Maut), France (Péage), Switzerland (LSVA), Poland (e-TOLL) and all vignette countries.
How are the toll costs estimated?
Toll values combine routing-provider data with published fallback rates. They are estimates, and the result identifies fallback routing when coverage is incomplete. Verify the final charge with the relevant toll operator.
Does NSRoute handle oversized cargo?
NSRoute supports exceptional-transport planning with dimensions and indicative permit, escort and clearance guidance. Coverage varies by country; confirm every requirement with the relevant authority.
How is NSRoute different from Google Maps?
Google Maps treats every vehicle the same. NSRoute accounts for truck dimensions, weight limits, axle configuration, ADR restrictions, driving bans, and estimates toll and fuel costs per country — essential for freight forwarders and fleet managers.
Can I export route calculations as PDF?
Yes, on every plan including FREE: export the full cost breakdown as a PDF with tolls, fuel, driver costs, margin and route details, optionally with your company name and logo.
How does the AI quote parser work?
Paste a quote request email and AI extracts origin, destination, cargo dimensions, weight and delivery date. Review the extracted data, then calculate the route and costs without retyping every field.
Can I send a route to my driver?
Yes. Create a secure Trip Link with the planned route and vehicle profile. The driver opens it without an account and can report trip statuses. There is no automatic tracking. The driver can explicitly and voluntarily share only the latest position for this route and stop at any time; no trip history is stored. The browser may pause updates in the background or after the screen is locked.
What maps do you use?
The map uses OpenStreetMap data with MapLibre. Truck routing uses HERE first, with OpenRouteService and OSRM as fallbacks. NSRoute shows a warning when a fallback cannot apply full vehicle restrictions.
About NSRoute
Built by NoStressStudio with hands-on experience in European freight forwarding, oversized cargo logistics and transport technology.
NSRoute was created to solve a real problem: existing navigation tools ignore truck-specific restrictions, leaving drivers and freight forwarders to guess toll costs, risk driving ban violations, and manually calculate oversized cargo permits across dozens of countries.
We combine deep domain expertise in logistics with AI and modern software engineering to build tools that save time, reduce errors and help transport professionals make better decisions — before the truck moves.
Route calculations are estimates. Actual toll rates, permit timelines and regulations may vary. Always verify with local authorities before transport.
